This design turned out a lot more complicated than I expected. Seemed straight forward enough on paper, and the pumpkin shell was thick enough, but this one took forever to carve.
I'm happy with it though. Turned out sorta lamprey-ish.
I used a night shot as the center photo this year. It's a little blurry, but the details stand out a lot more clearly than they do in the daytime shots.
One trick-or-treater didn't notice it until he was standing right next to it, then gave out a yelp when it caught his eye.
